It never fails,
Thoughts down on paper and I’m hammering nails.
Putting wind in the ship’s sails,
With halfway non-fictional tales.
Melville’s white whale.
Never for sale.
Refuse to dwell,
On heaven or hell.
That’s not for me to tell,
I’m just going to continue hammering nails.
Don’t care about losing potential future sales.
Not waiting for any check in the mail.
Free from the fear to fail.
Take in the sunset from a hay bale.
William Wallace ,“Freedom!” I yell.
Then get back to hammering nails.
